Refund and Returns Policy

We accept returns within 30 days of purchase. To be eligible, items must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition as received. 
Returns must be arranged in advance. Contact us first before returning any items via info@callaghanselectrical.com

📦 Unwanted Goods

  • Do not open, install, or use unwanted goods—this counts as acceptance and makes them non-returnable.

  • Return requests must be made within 14 days of delivery (online purchases only).

  • Returns can be made in-store or via collection (collection charges may apply).

  • You are responsible for the cost of return and care of the goods while in your possession.

  • A re-packaging or re-stocking fee may apply if goods are incomplete, missing packaging, or returned outside the 14-day window.

  • Special order items (not stocked regularly) are non-cancellable once ordered. A fee may apply if cancellation is requested.

  • Returns are not accepted if:

    • Goods are not in ‘as new’ condition

    • Goods have been installed or used

    • Components or cables have been cut or altered

⚠️ Damaged or Faulty Goods

  • Report damage within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.

  • Do not install damaged goods, as installation counts as acceptance and voids return eligibility.

  • If your item is faulty, a manufacturer inspection may be required on-site before a replacement is arranged.

  • If approved for replacement:

    • Installation is not covered.

    • The faulty appliance must be disconnected and pulled out prior to delivery of the replacement.

  • Faulty items may need to be returned to the manufacturer. Return costs are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Items purchased via euronics.ie cannot be returned in-store to Callaghan's Electrical.

💳 Refunds 

  • Once your return is inspected and approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.

  • Refunds are typically issued within 30 days of cancellation.

  • Sale items are non-refundable.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, and may be deducted from your refund if applicable.

🔁 Exchanges

We only replace items that are defective or damaged. To request an exchange, email info@callaghanselectrical.com
